The antistatic system protects against the unpleasant discharges that you have already experienced as an advertising decorator, e.g. For PVC lamination. The SD BASIC 1600HC is a two-in-one laminator: it can be used for both cold lamination and hot lamination from 0 to 60 °C. Hot laminators are activated above 30 °C.

Vertical cutting system
Precise vertical cutter will cut the waste edge with efficiency during lamination. Sharp cutting with fully adjustable tungsten steel blades.

Antistatic cord
The antistatic cord eliminates most of the charge during fast lamination. After the electrical drainage accessories placed on the laminator and proper grounding, there is no need to be afraid of electrical discharges.

Cold and hot lamination – All in one machine!
The SD BASIC 1600HC has both cold lamination and hot lamination functions. For cold lamination you can use the low temperature setting  without heating. In hot lamination mode, a maximum temperature of 60 ° C can be set in 1 degree increments. A degree of 60 ° C is sufficient for all known roll hot laminating films. Typically, only 30 ° C and 50 ° C will be required. Up to 23mm thick material can be laminated.

Cold lamination, heated cold lamination, hot lamination... What does it all mean?!
Most cold laminating machines are "cold" because the normal self-adhesive cold laminating film only needs to be laminated to the surface of the printed material. The result is satisfactory, but in some media the lamination is noticeable on the print, not perfectly transparent. Heating at 40-50 ° C softens the cold laminating film, making it even more perfect for printing. A temperature of about 40-50 ° C is sufficient for crystal clear, bubble-free lamination. Therefore, it is better with the SD 1600HC heating function than a cold laminator without heating. Hot laminating films melt at high temperatures and adhere to the surface without glue. Depending on the film type, approx. 20 - 60 °C is required.
