Sign&Print 2024 – A glimpse at our customer meetup event

We held our annual Sign&Print Open Day and Customer Meetup Event between October 9 and 11., where our customers could learn about our latest products through the presentations and live product demonstrations by our expert colleagues.

This time – as opposed to our customer meetups in previous years – it was held at our hungarian premises, presenting inside and out our brand new, modern warehouse and our remodeled showroom. The participants could choose from three days, thus ensuring that everyone could receive sufficient attention despite the large interest.

DTF Station – finally a reliable DTF printer brand

The goal of DTF Station brand is to develop systems that eliminate typical DTF errors. Richárd Bakó product manager presented the wide range of their products in which everyone could find the ideal choice for them – wheter it's the popular T-Shirt printing technology: DTF or the fairly new but promising object printing technology: UV DTF – from entry-level desktop printers to the most professional industrial machines. He mentioned the brand's completely unique online support communication channel, which is based on an open and transparent social system. Thanks to this platform, you could get an immediate solution for almost any question.

There was great interest in the machine demonstrations after the lectures, where the participants could experience the operation of four of the DTF Station models up-close.

Industrial UV printers from Jetrixtől

Jetrix brand's UV flatbed printers and roll-to-roll UV printers represent a higher category of printers: they are suitable for industrial-scale advertising decoration and sign-making in high quality, whether it is advertising signs, banners, poster printing, packaging design or even fashion items. In Signdepot's showroom, you can see yourself the most affordable model of their product range: the 1300x2500 mm table size Lxa5 flatbed UV printer designed specifically for small series production of high-quality, sharp prints.

Jetrix is a brand of the 30-year world-class printer-supply manufacturer, the Korean INKTEC company. It is based on the same brand phylosophy as all their products: continuous development with strict quality control. Richárd Bakó mentioned our close relationship with the manufacturer, and talked about the brand's future plans as well: the hybrid UV roll and flatbed printer.

AEON – top quality CO2 and RF laser engravers at affordable prices

AEON laser machines fill the gap between well-known cheap Chinese laser machines and higher quality equipment. Zsombor Szabó, CEO of Signdepot Europe Kft. presented the history of the ten-year-old company and the main advantages of AEON machines – such as all-in-one design, motorized work table, or automatic focus adjustment. He introduced the three main types of the product range: the most affordable MIRA series, the MIRA S series, which meets even higher industrial demands, and the uniquely versatile Super Nova. The latter provides laser engravers with double laser source – CO2 laser tube and RF laser source –, enabling both cutting of thick materials and extra-fast, super-fine engraving.

At the end of his presentation he touched upon Signdepot's fall special offer: for each AEON Mira S and Super Nova laser machine ordered by the end of October you get a Samsung Galaxy smartwatch for free!

After the presentations, participants could see in person the Mira 7S 60W CO2 model.

SEF cuttable heat transfer films 

Our final presentation was about our newest cuttable heat transfer film brand: SEF Textile.  Signdepot is continuously researching the market in order to always provide the best value-for-money choice for their customers. With its nearly 50-year experience, SEF Textile is located in France – similarily to Promattex, another brand we distribute, but it surpasses it both in quality and affordability. On top of that they provide special types, which aren't available at other brands, such as SEF FlexCut Nylon – specifically designed for water-resistant materials – or the laser-engravable SEF LaserFlex, which is an ideal choice for detailed graphics.

We are planning to continuously expand our range of heat transfer films in accordance with customer needs, so on our Open Day, we presented almost all types of the brand's wide product range.
